When I was invited to join Christinas “Kings and Queens” retreat at a beautiful castle, I was at one of the lowest points in my life. After ten years in a toxic marriage that ultimately ended in betrayal, I was broken—emotionally and financially. I had lost my sense of self. And I felt it deeply to just follow my heart to try new things!

I arrived at the retreat with nothing more than a simple summer dress, feeling out of place among the other attendees with their elegant costumes. But they had a beautiful dress waiting for me, and it fit perfectly. The moment I stepped into it, something inside me shifted—a new world began to open!

Christina, with her extraordinary talent as a director and videographer, captured everything beautifully and made us feel seen and comfortable! When I returned home, I realized that she had created not just a film, but a timeless memory. It was a reminder that we can create our own stories, embrace our strengths, and rise above life’s hardships as queens, daggers held up high!

This experience truly changed my life, and I believe it can do the same for anyone who joins! You'll find yourself!

Hoist the 🌈 flag, pirate escape

That weekend, at that moment, saved and healed me. At the time, I had been in a downward spiral for months in terms of my creativity and passion for creating. I was about to give up because I could no longer do it the way I wanted and liked to! But this moment, there on the waves and in a kinda foreign persona as a pirate, healed me! It showed me again how beautiful it is to enter fantasy worlds and live them. I helped cooking for my pirate friends (I LOVE cooking!), we slept in a tent and roamed the beach a few days and nights... and sitting under the nightsky with a campire...  This adventure and weekend will become a core memory for me, and a seed for more good and breathtaking things.

Ich bin wirklich dankbar das ich von christina eingeladen wurde: ich war am letzten Tag des retreats als Ladyknight dabei und durch sie habe ich ganz viele tolle Leute getroffen und es war wie eine neue tür die sich mir eröffnet hat! Seit dem war ich bei ganz vielen ihrer Projekte dabei und es war der Anfang einer tollen Freundschaft für die ich sehr dankbar bin!
- dadurch das ich nur am letzten Tag dabei war hatte ich echt angst mich nicht gut in die gruppe integrieren zu können, aber alle waren super nett, haben mich gleich für fotos und tiktok zeugs rangezogen :)
Es hat mich wahnsinnig inspiriert zwischen so vielen talentierten Leuten wie Fotografen, Kostümdesignern, cosplayern,... zu sein und ich erinnere mich wie ich zu Hause gleich 100 Pläne für meine nächsten Kostüme und Fotoshootings geschmiedet habe :D

Ich finde das Kings und Queens Retreat war eins der schönsten Events wo ich mitmachen konnte!! Es war einfach wunderschön da man für ein Wochenende einfach wirklich in eine andere Welt eintauchen konnte, mit anderen die genauso denken. Einfach gemeinsam in wunderschönen Locations mit Traumkleidern und Kostümen, zusammen mit den anderen zu erkunden, tanzen und zu reden. Und im Endeffekt hatte man auch noch unglaublich schöne Bilder und Videos von dem ganzen um immer wieder daran zurück denken zu können! Einfach mal der Wirklichkeit entfliehen würde ich sagen, ich kann es definitiv jedem empfehlen und würd sofort wieder mitmachen :D
